Family Fare Entrepreneurship Endowment Annual Report Academic Year 2025–2026
The Family Fare Entrepreneurship Endowment had a significant impact on Fayetteville State University’s Broadwell College of Business and Economics during the 2025–2026 academic year. The funding supported a variety of initiatives that promoted entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership development, and workforce readiness among students and the surrounding community.
Highlights included hosting nationally recognized entrepreneur Nicholas Perkins, whose keynote inspired students with insights on business ownership, leadership, and perseverance. The endowment also enhanced the University’s Innovation Lab, providing students with hands-on entrepreneurial experiences, mentorship, and business development opportunities. Additional support helped expand financial literacy and entrepreneurship education for K–12 educators across North Carolina, extending the program’s impact beyond the university.
Through these initiatives, the Family Fare Entrepreneurship Endowment strengthened experiential learning, fostered entrepreneurial thinking, and reinforced Fayetteville State University’s commitment to preparing future business leaders and contributing to the economic growth of North Carolina.
